Our Triple Scale Hydrometers allow you to determine your sugar content in 3 easy to read ways: The Brix/Balling scale allows your to measure your sugar content as a percentage of weight from 0-30%, this scale is most useful for winemakers. The specific gravity scale measures your liquids sugar solids as to the density of water. The potential alcohol scale allows you to determine the potential alcohol content based on the sugar content of the liquid.
