Assembly
Instructions For : Hydrometer Syringe Set
WARNING
During the assembly of the
Hydrometer Syringe Set, wear protective eye glasses and gloves to
guard against any accidental injury due to any glass fracture which
may take place before or during assembly.
Lubricate
all rubber parts with water before assembling them with the glass
barrel. |

Step 1
Install the stopper, wet the top end of the barrel with water,
insert the stopper until it begins to enter the barrel. Press
until it is flush with the barrel end. |

|
|
|
|
|
Step 2
Install the rubber bulb, wet the top end of the barrel with water.
Place the barrel against the bulb opening at a slight angle,
with a firm twisting motion, slip the rubber bulb onto the barrel.
Straighten in place. |

Step 3
Insert the Hydrometer Float, Place the top of the float onto the
bottom opening of the barrel. Slide the float onto the barrel. |

Step 4
Install the rubber tip, wet the end of the barrel with water.
Place the barrel against the rubber tip opening at a slight
angle. With a firm twisting motion, slip the rubber tip onto
the barrel. Straighten into place making sure the beaded end
of the barrel seats itself into the inside groove of the rubber tip. |
